Does the ferry have a fixed schedule time?
No. Your ferry tickethas no assigned departure time: you can take any departure on the day of your booking. Just arrive at the orange pier in the port of Santa Pola15 minutes in advance(20 minutes in August).

When does the ferry season to Tabarca open?
The season runs fromApril to October, with July and August seeing the highest influx of visitors. Special services operate during Easter Week.June and Septemberare the most pleasant months: the sea is already warm and there are fewer crowds than in peak August.
Can I book the ferry and restaurant at the same time?
Yes. Although ferry and restaurant are independent services, you select themon a single screen and pay only once. You will receive immediate confirmation by email with all details of your reservation.

What is Caldero Tabarquino?
Caldero tabarquino is the most iconic dish of Tabarca Island. It is made with fresh rock fish of the day simmered in a clay pot, accompanied by soupy rice cooked in the same broth and homemade aioli. It differs from the Santa Pola caldero due to the fish variety and the seafaring tradition of the island. You can book the caldero tabarquino menufrom €35.
Can you visit Tabarca with small children?
Yes. The 25-minute crossing is short and calm, and the ferry featurescovered and indoor seating areas. Childrenunder 4 travel freeand all restaurants offer children's menus. The island is very safe for families: minimal traffic, shallow waters in the coves, and everything within close walking distance.
Can I bring my pet?
Yes. Pets travelfree on the ferryon a leash or in a carrier. If you plan to dine on the island, let us know when booking so we can assign you a table on the terrace.
How do I book?
Booking is done online. Choose your date, number of people, and optionally your restaurant and menu; pay securely and receive yourQR code by email instantly. Present your QR code at the pier.
Can I cancel or change my booking?
It depends on the option selected when booking. WithStandard Bookingyou can change or cancelup to 48 hours before the service. WithFlexible Booking(+10%) you can do so up to 2 hours before your restaurant seating, or until the end of the activity day for ferry-only tickets; the Flexible supplement is non-refundable. What happens in case of bad weather?
Safety comes first. In case of strong winds or significant swell, service may be suspended by decision of the skipper or the Maritime Authority. If this occurs, we will notify you by email and WhatsApp as soon as possible, and you canreschedule at no cost or request a full refund. In summer conditions are very stable and services are rarely cancelled.
Is there parking near the pier in Santa Pola?
Yes. There ispublic parkingaround Muelle de Levante. In July and August we recommend arriving early as spaces fill quickly. You can also park in the center of Santa Pola and walk to the pier in about 10 minutes.
What should I bring for a day in Tabarca?
High-protection sunscreen, a water bottle, comfortable walking shoes for the village and coves, snorkel mask and tube for the marine reserve, some cash (beach bars do not always take cards), and your booking confirmation. The island has restaurants, bars, and souvenir shops.
What is Tabarca Island?
Tabarca Island is Spain's only National Marine Reserve and the only inhabited island along the Levantine coast. It lies 11 km from Santa Pola and 21 km from Alicante. Its waters boast the highest concentration of Posidonia oceanica in the Valencian Community, making its seabed spectacular for snorkeling. The 18th-century walled town, crystal-clear beaches, and fresh seafood restaurants make it a must-visit on the Costa Blanca.
